Make Eyes at Adrian Grenier 9/30 at the Clift

Shalom! Harlow, that is.

She and Adrian Grenier (Entourage), as well as Darryl Hannah and plenty of other celeb eye-candy, will be in effect at the ritzy 100 Million Trees Party at the Clift Hotel on Tuesday, September 30, 2008.
Goal:  To take back mailboxes and save 100 million trees per year.

I got the peep on this from event co-chair Nadine Weil, with whom I used to work at OpenTable.

Then, as now, she is a marketing and event powerhouse, currently serving not only as a board member at the ForestEthics committee, but also as VP of special projects at Splendora maven Zem Joaquin's Ecofabulous. (Photo of Nadine and Zem, L to R, by Heather Wiley for Drew Altizer in 7x7 Magazine)

These are people who know how to throw a *party* -- they're genius at getting massive stars, fab food & bev sponsors, and chic locations like the Bently Reserve and the Clift Hotel for their eco-parties, so their RSVP lists always fill up fast.

If you've already maxed out your campaign donation to Obama (hint hint!), and you still have a little extra green in your wallet, throw it down!

Then you can ask Adrian Grenier what it was like to get "cut down to size" by Noam Chomsky. (Photo of Adrian Grenier: Marina Oliphant)

Help Stopping Junk Mail:
http://www.donotmail.org/form.php?id=50

ABOUT:
Based in San Francisco, ForestEthics is a lean-and-mean green nonprofit that works to save endangered forests in the U.S., Canada, and Chile.  Recently, ForestEthics helped Victoria’s Secret, Dell and Williams-Sonoma switch to recycled and sustainable paper in millions of catalogs.  This fall, ForestEthics launched the campaign for a national Do Not Mail list that would be similar to the successful Do Not Call list and would help to stop junk mail from old-growth forests and give citizens control over their mailboxes. 100 million trees per year are at stake, and 65,000 signatures have already been collected.  Founded in 1994, ForestEthics has helped to save over 7 million acres of forests and just achieved a monumental 55 million acre protection agreement of the Boreal forest in Canada.
