First Taste at Nopalito -- Nopa's Mexican Offshoot

Stopped in for a simple, light and lovely adobo sturgeon taco today at Nopalito, Nopa's lil offshoot in the Falletti Foods complex at Broderick and Oak.

The verdict?

Yummy!

I kindof was jonesing for some hot sauce on there, though. My friend Chrissy tells me they'll bring you a thimbleful if you ask, but I think the rain had me feeling bashful.

Loved the fried chickpea amuse to pieces, however! And I don't even love chickpeas!

  1. I've wanted to try there but the one time I went they were closed for a private party. Maybe when there's a break in the weather in the year 2014 I'll try again.

  2. I was disappointed. I am a big fan of Carnitas and these were really greasy and fatty. Also sat on the patio on a blustery rainy windy day and it was really uncomfortable and none of us could keep warm. Homemade tortillas were also a downer.
