But I can tell you that the designs on these SIGG-like water bottles are very pretty, nature inspired in some cases and are a nice alternative to what SIGG's bottom barrel selections have been over the last few months. I can report back if I retrieve the name of this company making the goods...freshpinkstylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10753986487259783389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7099879437485155469.post-11730899120634261362008-08-13T16:29:00.000-04:002008-08-13T16:29:00.000-04:00Hi Tracie. I am glad that people are paying some attention to the "reduce" and "reuse" parts of the environmental stress reduction triad, and not just "recycle." My Laken aluminum bottle has kept me from putting three 1L plastic bottles a day into to the recycling process. The 25 co-workers or so on my floor fill up a 33-gallon bag of 1L plastic bottles and soda cans a day.

My Sigg-owning colleague had problems with the threading on his cap: have you had any issues with yours?

I don't know if they have them in the Bay Area, but Dick's Sporting Goods also has Sigg bottles. I think they are about $20 each. Sierra Trading Post (where I bought my Laken) is constantly sold out of them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
