Toro Y Moi's Chaz Bundick gets roped in by the fab Larry Hembree

Video of a sweet, silly moment with one of Columbia, SC's awesome-est indie musicians, national chillwave darling Chaz Bundick, aka Toro Y Moi!

Larry Hembree, Exec Director of the Nickelodeon art house movie theater, gave a phenomenal personal tour of the Columbia Museum of Art's permanent collection at the new first Fridays Arts + Draughts party last weekend, and he very ably roped in Chaz to sing a song Larry had penned to explain what was going on in the artwork.

Pretty stellar steadicam technique on my part, right? Ha!

Chaz is doing a rare local show in April at the defunct Gamecock Theater in Cayce, as part of the Nickelodeon's Indie Grits Festival.

Gonna be Rad.

Sneak peek at the indoor tilapia pond at City Roots urban farm!

Can't wait to eat these fish! Hundreds of sustainably farmed tilapia, just fattening up on nutrient-rich water filtered through a hanging creek full of watercress. So cool!

Now that City Roots is available as an event venue rental, you can maybe even do a fish fry where you catch your own dinner!

How cool would that be?

I didn't know free range chickens made such cute noises

Cute chickens! City Roots farm is growing ever so nicely. These chickens are penned in with a bunch of berry bushes, so that they can eat up the pests and fertilize the ground. Pretty smart!

Omg so juicy and rich and good. Thanks, @RosewoodMarket!
